Project of the State Agency for Metrological and Technical Surveillance under Operational Programme „Administrative Capacity”
„Implementation and certification of SAMTS’s quality management system complying with the requirements of standard BDS EN ISO 9001:2008” – Contract no. 13-31-4/24.04.2014”
The State Agency for Metrological and Technical Surveillance, as a beneficiary of the open procedure for selection of projects which cover specified quality requirements with a defined date of application, announced by the Ministry of Finance under Priority axis ІІІ „Quality administrative services and development of the electronic government” of Operational programme „Administrative capacity”, area of intervention 3.1. „Improvement of the services provided to the society and business including by development of electronic government”, signed a contract for implementation of project „Implementation and certification of SAMTS’s quality management system complying with the requirements of standard BDS EN ISO 9001:2008” with the Managing authority of Operational program (OPAC) – Directorate „OPAC” of MF on 24th of April 2014.
The period of project implementation is 18 months and the total project amount is 107 981.20 BGN.
The following activities are foreseen to be performed for the project realization:
- Activity 1: Development of tender dossiers and carrying out procedures for choosing executors of the project activities
- Activity 2: Evaluation and analysis of the status quo with regards to the actual methods of quality management at SAMTS, QM system’s development, training of SAMTS’s employees for implementation and control of the quality management system, QM system’s implementation
- Activity 3: Certification of the quality management system
- Activity 4: Activities related to information and publicity.
In accordance with the project all the requirements for publicity and information will be applied for the whole period of its implementation and after its completion.
The project implementation will lead to improvement of the quality of services provided by SAMTS aimed at better administrative servicing of the society and business as well as it will contribute for achieving the global objective of OPAC: Improving the performance of public administration for the implementation of effective policies, quality services to citizens and businesses and creating conditions for a sustainable economic growth and employment.
The procedure for granting free financial aid is performed with the financial assistance of the Operational Programme „Administrative Capacity” co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund
