of\u00a0<strong>Operational Program \u201eAdministrative Capacity\u201d<\/strong>, area of intervention 2.2 \u201eCompetent and effective public administration\u201d, signed a contract for project\u00a0 implementation \u201e<strong>Improvement of the professional qualification of employees of the State Agency for Metrological and Technical Surveillance<\/strong>\u201d with the Managing authority of Operational program (OPAC) &#8211; Directorate \u201eOPAC\u201d of MF on the 27th of May 2013.<\/p>\n<p>The period of project implementation is\u00a0<strong>12 months<\/strong>\u00a0and the total project amount is\u00a0<strong>87 153.21 BGN<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThe following activities and sub-activities are foreseen to be performed for the project realization:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Activity 1<\/strong>: Organization and carrying out of foreign language trainings of SAMTS\u2019s employees for improvement of their professional qualification;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sub-activity 1.1<\/strong>: Specialized foreign language trainings organized by the Institute for public administration;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sub-activity 1.2<\/strong>: Language trainings different from those offered by the Institute for public administration;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Activity 2<\/strong>: Organization and carrying out of computer trainings of SAMTS\u2019s employees for improvement of the quality and efficiency of their work;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sub-activity 2.1<\/strong>: Computer trainings for expanding the employees\u2019 knowledge and working skills when using MS Office products.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sub-activity 2.2<\/strong>: Computer trainings for management, configuration and support of tools in IT environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In accordance with the project all the requirements for publicity and information will be applied for the whole period of its implementation and after its completion.<\/p>\n<p>The project implementation will lead to improvement of the SAMTS employees\u2019 knowledge and skills in order to perform their professional duties more efficiently and more effectively as well as to contribute for achieving the global objective of OPAC: Improving the performance of public administration for the implementation of effective policies, quality services to citizens and businesses and creating conditions for a sustainable economic growth and employment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The procedure for granting free financial aid is performed with the financial assistance of the Operational Programme \u201eAdministrative Capacity&#8221;
