According to the definition contained in the Civil Law Convention on Corruption, Corruption means requesting, offering, giving or accepting, directly or indirectly, a bribe or any other undue advantage or prospect thereof, which distorts the proper performance of any duty or behavior required of the recipient of the bribe, undue advantage or prospect thereof.
The current rubric is aimed at providing publicity and transparency on the activities of SAMTS administration and preventing the rise of conflicts of interests, corruption practices and corruption among the SAMTS employees.
